The Moment You're Gone

Should I believe
That what is gone
Has vanished evermore
I had a dream of heaven

Your hands on my hips
Lifting me on the edge
Pulling me closer
On that flimsy bridge

Your kisses so hard
On the beach that night
Waves of the ocean mirror
The bright moonlight

Wet sand everywhere
Consumed by desire
Your tongue in my ear
Maybe too much wine

Watching your face
Feeling your heart beat
As you undress me
My skin awaken as you breathe

Shivering
I could smell your cologne
Lingering
It was all so genuine

And then I woke
And you were not there
You are not here
You are gone
